  23.     You are absolutely correct.  My meaning was, in more naturalistic
  24.     imagery the artifacting is essentially trivial or nominal, and
  25.     does not interfere with using the image, or making money.

  27.     For instance, one of the biggest failures of the PAR is displaying
  28.     dark-blue to black gradients.  I live in fear that some client
  29.     will insist on such a background, and I'll have to single frame
  30.     the whole damn animation.

  32.     Surprisingly, no one ever has, and I've been able to weasel around
  33.     the (slight) limitations of the PAR quite successfully.

  35.     Hopefully, the "new PAR" will obviate such considerations.
